So, I don’t get to watch a lot of TV. Even when I had access to cable television my lineup consisted of Spongebob, Two Guys and a Girl, and Rachael Ray. Who really watches more than a few favorite channels anyway, right? With that said, I’ve been reluctant to pitch in on the idea of purchasing cable for the house. My boyfriend and I would benefit from the internet access, but 100 bucks a month, plus whatever admin fees the company feels like charging, is just a bit steep for some email access at home and an animated sea sponge. I know I’m exaggerating a bit, but really these fees are getting a little out of hand. Can we get some competing providers? Something? I guess until that day comes, I’ll be in the market for a high-def unit. They’re getting cheaper by the minute (unlike cable invoices), and with a nifty little antenna, you get a clear signal and a bunch of FREE additional channels to watch.

Sounds like a no-brainer to me…
