You know when you have that blissful few minutes when one conference call ends, and the second doesn’t start for another eight minutes? Sometimes, I like to pause and take in the quiet. Other times, it takes a little bit more effort to empty my brain and refresh for the next topic, and for these time, I keep a bucket of Legos nearby. They keep my brain in creative thinking mode, while also helping to prep my thoughts for a topic switch.
